Uploading Your Manuscript

Uploading your manuscript to Story Stream is a simple process. Before you begin, please make sure to read our Supported Document Types and Sizes page to ensure your manuscript is compatible with our platform.

Follow these steps to submit your work for analysis:

• Log into your account and open Your Books from the top navigation. Once there you will see a button that says New Book. Click on it like the image below.

• Choose your book tier and go through the payment process. The tier you choose will determine the number of tokens you can use. The number of tokens you can use will determine the size of your manuscript. Please see the Supported Document Types and Sizes page for more information.

• Upload your manuscript (making sure to pay attention to the tokens limits). Fill in your book title, author name, and genre.

• We will also ask you a set of 4 questions to help us better understand your book. This is an important part of the Story Stream experience and will help us provide you with the best possible feedback since it grounds our software in your custom intentions. It's important to be honest and clear with what you're going for with your book so that we can make sure we're providing the best possible feedback.

• Submit the form and we'll take care of the rest.

Processing Time

Generally, manuscripts are complete within an hour, many times this is much faster. Generally, the larger the manuscript, the longer it will take to process. You can navigate away from the page while your manuscript is being processed. You will see a progress bar on your dashboard as our software evaluates your manuscript.
